A Balanced Life!

January 17, 2011

Learn to live a balanced life in Christ

Text: John 17:7-10.

Jesus at his last prayers, he said, “Father I have done it.”

The greatest job was that he made it clear to those who were called out of the world to live with him always, though they were still living on the world, that all things that Jesus had is from the Father, and what he has from the father is theirs.

But to reach that level of being part of his last word of prayers, you must be knowledgeable enough that all things comes from the Father. This is the glorification that Jesus did for the name of his Father to those who were called out of the world.

After having that knowledge the he prayed for protection over your life and all things that comes from the Father to you to glorify the name of God.

Therefore, I tell you that the only purpose of Jesus, was and is to make us know that he came from the God and all he has is from him.  So there is nothing that you have to be proud of with him.  It is only by his will through the grace of his son to us that we can get things that can promote us for his glorification.

So the wife, husband, house, children, car and money, plus that title, all are from the Father, and they are only given to you by his grace for the glory of our Father .

Please, humble yourself and learn to do well (Isaiah 1:17) knowing that all that you have accessed is by his grace, it is not by your power or might, but by the spirit of grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. Once you know that then you deserve his protection and more provision for the glory of his name. The only thing to share with others, so that they can glorify God for your giving, and the Our father will give you more.

Learning to live balanced life is to know that you are in this world, but you do not operate on the principles of this world, because you are in this world, but not of this world.

So there is no reason why you should be proud, call yourself wiser than the other, richer than the other, more secure that other. We are only living by his grace through faith in Christ, who made it clear to us that all things comes from the Father for his name to be glorified.

God bless you.

Building a Mission Centre!

January 4, 2011

God is good!

We so desire to build a place of our own as a mission base, which would save us much money which we now pay in rent.  We have the property, but we need the materials to build.  Our present need, as of yesterday, was 100 bags of cement.  Today, we praise God, because we now have 10 bags to get us started.  So now we are in need of 90 more bags.

So we are requesting our friends to support this project.  Just ONE bag costs 30,000/= UGX (less than US$15).  So if we can get 90 people to contribute $15 each, we would have enough for the project.  All that is needed after that is some iron sheets for the roof.if you can contribute either one bag , we shall be gratefulso that we can go on with our project of establishing a mission base in Uganda .

KENYA MISSION REPORT (29th OCT – 3rd NOV, 2010)

November 6, 2010
by

After the direction from God through the prayers that I had, God told me to begin mission trips both within and out Uganda to heal the sick minded members in the body of Christ basing on Hebrews12:12.

When I said yes to God, I got an invitation from Pastor Peter Obonyo in Kenya of shalom Gospel church in Mathari areas of Nairobi.

On 29th October, 2010, I started my trip by Akamba bus during night on Friday, on Saturday morning, I was in Nairobi ready, and Pastor Peter came and picked me from Akamba stage in the center of Nairobi.

I was taken to hotel Muhanga hotel where I stayed for three days and nights at 50,000/= each day. This was my first miracle when God provided money for transport to Kenya and money for hotel. This was the first confirmation that God sent me to make missions.

On Saturday, I was taken in the church to teach in the seminar and I meet a lady by the name Helen, whom God talked to pray for me, and she had happy day when she saw me standing on the muddiest of the congregation teaching.  She gave a testimony how God touched her life to pray for me and for God to use me.  Even on Sunday, she came in the church with a new shirt and tie saying, that after listening to the message, God gave her 10.000/= Kshs. On that money, she paid for my transport to come back to Uganda as well as buying those two gifts. The pastor’s wife was a real mother to me during the time I was in Nairobi because she cooked for me different types of food to feed me as I had to preach and teach in the seminar.

The church cared for me with my transport to and from hotel to the church.

The Theme of this seminar was “to Change and affect the changes to cause a change that can benefit the body of Christ”.  We had to look at the meaning of the Church and its foundation and why we should change, because spiritually the politics of Kenya had brought in a change, and if the church does not change to affect those changes, the church can be affected  by the political changes, yet the Church is a salt and light to the communities. (Mathew 16:16-18) Jesus said , I will build my church, so we had to look at the Builder, the foundation, the church and the values of the church in the community.

These teachings took us for two days.

On  Monday, 1st Nov, 2010, we had a community outreach mostly we made home visits to the families of women living positive with HIV/AIDS, and through prayers and  bible sharing, women get courage and others gave theirs lives to Christ. This kind of activities was done in partnership with Youth ministry in the church.

After the community work we had a fellowship at Pastor’s home where some members came and gave me gifts of sugar, clothes and many other things for the family and my wife. So that day we had to pray and say bye-bye to each other, while they had to request me to stay for more days or I would not take long without visiting them again Sunday and Monday.

On 2nd Nov, 2010, I had to move from hotel to Bus park and pastor Peter with  brother in Christ took and booked for me a bus that would take me from Nairobi to Kericho, where I had also to visit Brother Mutai Elijah, who welcomed me and took me around the city of Kericho and I meet Pastor Isaac Songole of Neno Evangelism Church, who welcomed me to go back on 17th to 19th Dec, 2010 for a three days Seminar.  Please all friends, I do request your partnership in prayers, still to allow God move in our lives .

After that church, brother Mutai Elijah took me to his home where we stayed together though his wife was not there, because she is a teacher and they only meet on weekends. .

Brother Mutai Elijah has a good spirit and he is committed to the Lord. He leads a fellowship of brothers who are workers in the Tea factory.

This is brother again requested me to go back and visit their home village with gospel as I did in the Nairobi.

More doors of teaching and preaching the word of God were widely opened for me in Kenya, but I need your support and prayers.

I had to pray for the sick people who in turn got God’s miracles on their lives, which cause many to praise God and give a word of thanks to their churches.

Thank you.

God bless you.

Michael.

SALVATION AND REWARDS

July 5, 2010

SALVATION BY GOD’S PRINCIPLE OF LOVE AND REWARDS BY PERSONAL DISCIPLINE

TEXT: Mathew 6:1-8.
Focus verse: 6:8. (DO NOT BE LIKE THEM)

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.  Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.  But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”

After Jesus views the discipline and behavior for the children of Israel and how proud they were, He said, “Do not be like them!”  Even the discipline of the gentiles made him to make such a statement.

By kingdom principle, Jesus came for everybody and to create opportunity for the lost person to access then new life in Christ for being upright with God and be entered into the book of life.  It by that kingdom principle of Love and of Faith that we are now counted to be children of God through his great suffering and pain.

For that, we are not to judge anybody, because we were all sinners and all of us were able to be rewarded death.  So we are living by his grace according to God’s will.

However, after having received that righteousness of Jesus Christ by his grace, and now that we live by faith, this does not promote us to do or act like them.  We have to be judged according to our person discipline or ways of behaviors.
We are to be rewarded according to the level we act by faith in Christ.  We are not to act as a way of pleasing ourselves or our fellow men, but according to God’s will.

It is by God’s will that we do not pray like them; we do not give like them; we do not fast like them; we do not fight our battles like them.  All these are instructions and orders from our master Jesus Christ, and we have a right to judge any brother or sister who’s not bearing good fruits in the presence of God.

We are not ashamed to rebuke you if you say you are a brother or sister in Christ,  and you does not show the sign of obedience in your heart by acting positive according to God’s will .

Therefore, your reward in Christ is in the way you discipline yourself always.

If you do not wash your clothes or body whose responsibility is it?  Do you think people will not speak about your behavior because you are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ?  Yes you will go to heaven, but you will not access the reward of your prayers, fasting, giving and others, if you do things like them.

So, brother and sister, it is your personal discipline that will guide your blessing to you and you will be rewarded if you maintain that discipline.

How can light mix up with Darkness?  (See 2 Corinthians 6:14.)

God bless you.

Faith and God’s Will

June 20, 2010

Today I taught about how faith operates towards God’s Will.

Those who accepts God’s Will to be done are the children who live by faith.  So we do not look at people or to things that can help us, but to God and allow God to work towards His will by faith through his grace.

My text today is from Mathew 7:21-22.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ (NKJ)

Not everybody who says Lord, Lord that the kingdom will be for him or her but those only who operates under the Will of our Father.  You may perform miracles and many wonders, but is your life under the Will of God?  Still how will you understand his Will to be done on earth if you do not understand how it is done in heavens.  This Will does not come just by itself without the kingdom of God. This Will is the earthly document that God had to send to us through his son Jesus Christ.  He is our advocate whom our Father has given to us to tell us how to go about it and please God.  That why Paul says that there is no way we can please God without Faith.

Let us operate according to the Will of our Father through grace of our advocate Jesus Christ by faith.

God bless you and please tell me what you say about it.

Amen.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

April 23, 2010

Ephesians 4:26,27

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  Neither give place to the devil.

  1. Anger is an expression God gave man.
  2. Anger has a bad side.
  3. Anger has a good side.
  4. Anger may need to be expressed outwardly.
  5. Anger may need to be examined inwardly.

In the book of Numbers we find a story of God and a man, both had ANGER and were ready to express it.

Let us examine this story and discuss the facts expressed in it.

Numbers 22:22-27, 28-32, 33-35

22  And God’s anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

  1. God does have anger like man. But God’s anger is always righteous, unlike mans anger, which may not always be for the right purpose or expression.
  2. The facts concerning this passage would cause us to ask, what made God so angry? The answer is told in the verses just before our study, and that is that the man was not going to represent God’s will for others, but express his own will.
  3. God had and has a right to intervene on our behalf, if we call Him our Lord.
  4. We must seek His wisdom concerning our actions and reactions to others.

23  And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.

  1. We find in this passage that Balaam is the man mentioned in the passage before, and he is expressing his anger by striking the donkey and not knowing the reason the donkey is doing what he is doing.
  2. Do we sometimes do the same thing as Balaam?
  3. Have you ever seen someone act out anger as Balaam did?
  4. Have you ever acted out in anger for the wrong reason or reasons?
  5. Did the donkey really do anything wrong in this story?
  6. At this point do you think Balaam’s actions were right?

GO AWAY LEADERS AND LET PEOPLE SEE GOD.

April 13, 2010
TEXT : PSALM 77:12-17.
I will also meditate on all Your work,
And talk of Your deeds.
Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary;
Who is so great a God as our God?
You are the God who does wonders;
You have declared Your strength among the peoples.
You have with Your arm redeemed Your people,
The sons of Jacob and Joseph.  Selah
The waters saw You, O God;
The waters saw You, they were afraid;
The depths also trembled.
The clouds poured out water;
The skies sent out a sound;
Your arrows also flashed about.

This is a psalm from Asaph and after all what he said from the beginning of it, I want to share with you the following:

a. verses 12 – 15 – It is through personal experience with God that can lead you to understand his secrets.

I will meditate on all your works and talk your deeds – Here I will always build my relationship with God  by seeing his works of salvation upon my mistakes and his answer to my forgiveness and well the way see his deeds of his power towards the miracles and  wonders of healing through the ministry that I serve with him. He is the only partner that will never fail those who trust him and walk with him in day to day service.

b.  verses 16-17 – Let all leaders know this that people are sick of leaders who do not give opportunity to God’s children to have their personal experiences with God, but they are act in the position of God to his people, yet God can reflect Himself and show His presence to His children if the leaders are servants not bosses, and if leaders are channels of God’s blessing, instead of being the source of blessing.

The water saw God and they were afraid, the paths also trembled. – Here I see the way  Asaph was referring the waters as people. It reflects to me that the water of river Nile did not see Moses  or even the rod of Moses, either the people plus their riches, their values and importance. The water did not see the enemy of the Jews, but the water saw God.

Today, people are tied of seeing the authority of pastors, bishops, evangelists, apostles, prophets and teachers, but water needed to see the authority of God, and today, our people see the authority of God. There will be no one who would dare to kill his brother or sister. There would be no person who can allow his brother in Christ sleep without food, clothes, shoes or these daily social needs and enjoy by himself.

We leaders, if we had obeyed to the level of being the total servants, then we would see the duties of Christ fully through us and no one would dare to abuse our services.

People are abusing the services of their leaders because they do not see God, but they see the pastor as a person.

The water did not see the person as Moses, but it saw God.

Therefore, my fellow leaders let us go away and allow God to be seen to his children in the fellowship.  Let us be channels rather than being sources of protection, supplies and blessings of healing by stopping to advertise the works and deeds of God.  Allow God to be seen by the waters and let God by Himself advertise his works and deeds.

Looking forward to hear from you what you say about this.

God bless you.
